Mahindra XUV700 & XUV 3XO PDI Inspection: ADAS, Paint & Electronic Checklist
Mahindra's flagship XUV700 and feature-packed XUV 3XO have redefined safety and technology in India with Level-2 ADAS, panoramic skyroofs, and dual HD digital displays. Because of their sophisticated electronics and high electronics integration, a professional 155+ checkpoint PDI is essential to verify sensors, radar alignment, and software stability before RTO registration.
1. Level-2 ADAS Camera & Front Radar Alignment
Mahindra's Level-2 ADAS relies on a windshield-mounted optical camera and a front bumper radar unit. In-transit bumper scratches or improper bumper clip reattachment during dealership prep can throw calibration off:
- Inspect the front radar cover on the lower grille for surface cracks, alignment tilt, or stone impacts sustained in transport.
- Verify windshield clarity and heating elements directly in front of the forward ADAS camera housing.
2. Skyroof Drains & Water Leak Testing
The segment-largest panoramic sunroof requires meticulous inspection:
- Open and close the panoramic skyroof twice, listening for motor strain or friction.
- Inspect rubber perimeter weather-stripping for pinch deformities or dry rot.
- Check the A-pillar and roof headliner fabric for damp water tide marks or moisture.
3. Twin 10.25-inch HD Display & AdrenoX Software Audit
- Verify that the AdrenoX infotainment system boots without error codes or screen flickering.
- Test electronic flush door handles (XUV700) for smooth motorized pop-out and retraction.
- Scan all secondary ECUs via OBD2 diagnostic port for stored sensor faults.
