Complete EV Car PDI Checklist Before Delivery
Buying an electric vehicle is exciting, but checking the vehicle carefully before delivery is equally important. A proper EV PDI can help identify cosmetic, electrical and charging-related issues.
1. Exterior Inspection
Carefully inspect the body panels, paint finish, glass, lights and charging port for any damage.
- Check the paint for scratches, dents and uneven finish.
- Inspect headlights, taillights and indicators.
- Check the charging port and its cover.
2. Battery & Charging System
Verify the battery status and make sure the charging system is functioning correctly.
- Check the battery charge level.
- Inspect the charging cable and connector.
- Verify that the vehicle starts charging properly.
